They are food supplements usually proposed as adjuvants to body control and weight loss diets based on plant extracts that stimulate metabolism, in particular that of lipids (thermogenic effect), but also containing caffeine, taurine, tyrosine and other amino acids and micronutrients, such as chromium, which contribute to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and the maintenance of normal levels of glucose in the blood. * The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1 g each, with 1-2 glasses of water before meals and in the context of a low-calorie diet.
